My New Book
It's finally done! My book that explores the sport of canyoneering, Canyon Deep: Descents Into Hidden Landscapes has just been published
and is available in two places: There's the e-book version on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0143WEKKG). That sells for $19.95. And then there's the full-out, really cool, really high class hardcopy version available here (http://www.blurb.com/b/6439591-canyon-deep) for a mere $150. That includes a signed print by yours truly of any photograph in the book. Just contact me through the blog.
The 114-page book is chock full of photographs, more than 150! This is
not a how-to book for canyoneering. It explores rarely seen canyons in
the Southwest (San Gabriel Mtns, San Bernardino Mtns, Death Valley,
Zion) and the text is more of a narrative of the adventures of my group
of canyoneers, who happen to be in their sixties but going strong. But
it's mostly photography. Even has notes on all the photos in the back in
case you care what equipment was used and why I took the picture.
Please check it out when you get a chance.
